These fluid filtration gaskets feature a 316L stainless steel screen, making them suitable for high purity systems. The screens are available in a variety of mesh sizes ranging from 4 Mesh up to 100 Mesh. Fluid filtration gaskets provide the most comprehensive range of stainless steel mesh and filter cloth to provide the ultimate particulate elimination for protecting fill and finish sterile products. All Rubber Fab Screen Gaskets feature Dutch Twill weave which provides for maximum strength and minimum pressure drop.EPDM is specified by many process equipment manufactures and are generally suitable for these applications, however service life must be considered and a preventative maintenance program must be in place to mitigate degradation. EPDM Gaskets are generally only suitable for low pressure steam between -30°F and 300°F. EPDM is a good choice for Tri-Clamp Gaskets when an economical solution for weather and chemical resistant seals is desired. Chemically, EPDM has good resistance to animal oils, vegetable oils, ozone, strong chemicals, and oxidizing chemicals.
