The OEM shifter in the Solstice/Sky has a long throw and can be sloppy. Our ZZPerformance short shifter for the GM Kappa platform cuts the throw nearly in half and makes it shifts very precise. The kit comes with a new shifter mechanism, billet adapter, stainless hardware to mount in the vehicle, and a grease packet to lube up the new assembly for install. The entire install can be completed from the top side of the car and does not require you to go under the vehicle at all. Once installed, the new shifter makes the shifts significantly more precise and reduces the throw of the shifter from the stock 4" throw to a 2.6" with the short throw shifter installed. Installation takes about 30 minutes and is easily reversible. Works with stock shift knob.
- Fits: 2006-2010 Pontiac Solstice and 2007-2010 Saturn Sky with the AR5 manual transmission.
